本以太网转V.35协议转换器(接口转换器)采用大规模FPGA设计，提供1个DTE/DCE V.35接口和1个以太网接口，能够实现10/100base-T以太网数据在E1通道上的传输，是一种高性能、自学习式以太网桥。该设备作为以太网的延伸设备，利用现有网络（DDNISDNATM）所提供的V.35通道(比如基带猫)，以较低的成本实现两端以太网互联。
设备内置环路测试功能，为工程开通和日常维护提供便利。
