本系列设备是多功能的支持异步RS-232通信接口的转换器，支持RS232的数据与所有握手信号(DCDDTRDSRRTSCTSRI)通过E1传输到远端。该设备是连接远程终端单元(RTU)到主机(HOST)或分布式数据采集系统(SCADA)控制器的最佳选择，具有很高的性能价格比。
串行口的通信速率可达256Kbps，适用于移动基站远动信号、电力远动信号、串行电话线Modem传输以及网络监控等场合。
