光放大中继器OEO采用光-电-光的转换原理使光信号再生,从而实现光信号的再生放大可应用于光信号的单多模转换、OEO放大，实现低成本、高质量的光信号放大方案。它能配合其他（如DWDM，OADM，DCM，EDFA等）组建成整套的光网络传输系统。
