同向G.703(Co-Directional G.703)接口将64Kbps周期分成为4个单位间隔它以0101表示〝0〞1100表示〝1〞通过交替变换相邻码组的极性把二进制信号转换成三电平信号并通过在每第8组破坏码组的极性交替从而来传送8KHz的定时信号。
通过以上编码处理 G.703同向64K bps信号就能实现把64KHz和8KHz的定时信号和64Kbit/s的数据信号在同一个传输方向上用一对平衡线传输。
64k-RS422/485 接口转换器提供ITU-T同向64K G.703标准E1接口与标准RS232/422/485接口之间的物理层转换。为网络中不同接口设备之间的通信提供安全、无缝的连接。适用于传输设备的E1通道部分时隙可供利用，而需要传输数据的设备又只有RS232/422/485出口的场合。
